Bio

Jack has been a passionate climber for close to two decades. Originally from Perth in Western Australia, in 2016 he moved to NSW in search of greener (steeper) pastures in the form of the sheer cliff faces the Blue Mountains are known for. It was in NSW where Jack's career as a route setter and in the climbing industry more broadly, truly began to take shape. 

Jack's passion for climbing and for the industry is clear to see from his involvement in numerous climbing related side projects and pursuits. Despite working full time as a manager for 9 Degrees boulder gym, he still finds time to set for competitions, travel for climbing, run a podcast, be a partner in a climbing hold company, run setting clinics, create YouTube content, feature in videos, offer climbing coaching and more!

When he's not busy working Jack still tries to find time to get out on rock, which over the years has seen some impressive ascents of boulders up to v12 and routes up to 8c.
